A comparative survey of some of the leading ideas of the world's major religions, including Confucianism, Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Attention will be given also to the primitive roots of civilized religion and to the cultural context in which the various conceptions developed.
